Adventure Shoot in Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton Adventure Shoot // L & C

This adventure shoot in Grand Teton NP is one I’ll always remember and cherish!! Cameron had reached out to me about 9 months before this shoot to plan his proposal to Lauren! 9 MONTHS! Talk about love and intention! The plan was to pretend I was going to be in the Tetons during this weekend in September and I was looking for models! I “reached out” to Cameron to see if they would be able to model for me since they were planning a trip up to the Tetons that weekend and Lauren was so excited! She had no idea this had been planned for months and months and that they were about to get engaged! She just thought it was a fun couple shoot that I had randomly set up. It was perfect!

The moment I met these two in person, I felt like I had known them for years! They are both so warm, fun, and easy to be around. We chatted like we’d been friends for years! Cameron and I had to play it cool and act like we hadn’t been emailing for the past several months! I asked all my classic questions to get to know them as a couple and Lauren had no idea! Before the shoot I had sent Cameron photos of the spots I usually hit in Grand Tetons so he could decide which spot would be best to propose. He ended up choosing the third and final spot, which I thought was the perfect choice! It has such an incredible view of the Tetons and is such a beautiful spot to get engaged!

Once we got to the spot we did a few different prompts before walking into the field across the road! Cameron had decided before the shoot that that was when he was going to start telling her about his plans, how we had been emailing for 9 months at that point and fill her in on all the details before getting to an open clearing and getting down on one knee! It was such a special moment to witness and document. Lauren was so surprised!! They shared a beautiful moment and it was an honor to document them getting engaged!!! We ran around the field for a little longer after they were engaged and then they had a dinner planned in town with her parents! It was such an incredible shoot and I’ll always love it! It’s always an honor to document such priceless and beautiful moments in people’s lives. Can’t wait for their wedding next year!!! I’m so grateful I get to work with amazing couples like these two!
