This wedding day will ALWAYS be a favorite of mine!! First off–Kate and Sean are probably the most chill and trusting humans I’ve ever worked with. I absolutely LOVED my time with them. We also need to talk about what a good looking couple they are?!! They’re perfect and I adore them. Anyways, they got married in Cayucos, California! It’s where Kate’s mom grew up and I love that they chose a town so special to them. I had never been and it’s such a cute, quaint coastal town. We also got to explore Morro Bay and loved it! So grateful I got to travel out there! Their wedding day was filled with so much love and joy. Looking at the ceremony I get Mama Mia vibes because of the colors, location and happy emotions throughout. They ended their ceremony by having everyone hug each other cheering and laughing!! I’ve never seen anyone do that and I absolutely LOVED it! We also ended the ceremony with a big group photo of everyone at the ceremony and it was so fun. They are surrounded by so much love!! They left the ceremony in the cutest light blue jaguar and we also got them pictures with it because we HAD to! So cute!!
Their reception was super lively and happy! It was super important to Kate to make pictures quick so they could have plenty of time with their loved ones and being present during their wedding day and I loved that so much. Brides–it’s YOUR day! If you want lots of portraits and bridal pictures then let’s do it! If you want pictures to be quick so you can talk to your loved ones more then GREAT! Let’s do it! It’s your day and completely up to you!
Their wedding was at Swallow Creek Ranch and it was a beautiful venue! Their reception was partly outside for cocktail hour, inside the barn for dinner and speeches and then dancing! It was such a perfect wedding day and I loved every part of it. Their colors, the flowers, Kates DRESS, the venue, the people….just the best. I felt so included too and their family welcomed everyone with open arms. That’s so so appreciated as a photographer since we spend the whole day with our couples and their families. Thank you Kate and Sean for being so kind, easy-going and caring from the beginning! Your day was a DREAM!
