Okay wow I have no words for how amazing this day was!! Tara & Will came from New York to Elope in Moab, Utah and it was absolutely AMAZING!! I truly love the vibe and feel of elopements SO much because it’s all about time spent with your person. It’s YOUR day. That’s exactly how it was for these two!! Tara is suuuper organized and had everything planned out and brought so many special things for their day! We started at their Airbnb in Moab and I took pics as they each got ready–separately because they did a first look! I was freaking out when Tara came out in her dress because it’s stunning!! The details are insane!! After they got ready we drove into Canyon lands to do one of their favorite hikes and have a picnic with a view! Just an FYI for everyone reading this–I am ALWAYS down to hike on your big day!! Anyways, the hike was super easy and the view is absolutely incredible! After taking some pics of the two of them they set up their picnic with the cutest mini charcuterie board and drinks! It was the perfect place for a picnic and the weather was actually amazing!! BUT for about 5-10 minutes the most random rain storm blew in!!! One moment they were enjoying their picnic, the next it was pouring!! It got to a point where I was worried about my gear cause I had my dual harness cameras and only one rain coat for one camera! We weren’t expecting rain at all!! But it cleared pretty quickly and then we packed up, hiked back and drove to Dead Horse Point State Park to get them married!! They eloped in a beautiful spot with a view! Only thing is of course it was the windiest it ever got that night during their ceremony BUT these two didn’t complain one bit and were so happy to get married! Their vows were so sweet and it was such a special moment to document!!

After they were officially married we went to another spot in the park to cut cake, take pics, do their first dance and pop some champagne!! We got the most BEAUTIFUL golden light while they did their first dance and got so many amazing golden shots! This elopement was seriously photographer heaven. I’m SO grateful I got to be apart of such a special day and meet these two! I love becoming friends with all my couples and I’m honestly a little sad they’re in a whole other state across the country! But I’m so grateful they asked me to document their day in Moab. It’ll forever be one of my favs!!
